Renaissance Objectives
The Renaissance is an exciting time when humanity refused to live on Blind Faith alone and questioned EVERYTHING! This is an excellent topic to analyze how the ideas surrounding the Humanist movement played a central role in the shaping of Western Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. We will survey historical artifacts and understand their importance to the Baroque period. Then, as we enter the Age of Enlightenment we will deduce the ideas and works of the thinkers and writers of the Enlightenment, including Galileo, Mill, Locke, Descartes, and Kant.
