The Middle Ages: Myths & Legends Objectives
The Dark Ages was a fascinating time when three-headed dragons were REAL, at least in the medieval mind. During this topic we will discover how myths help explain the world around us and like most people who have their own favorite story from childhood, they often, find these tales are both fascinating and frightening! We will summarize the spirit of a myth & its characteristics, and examine myths in the context of their lore. We will end our look into the era by analyzing the symbols and hidden meanings within myths, and then WRITE OUR OWN MYTH!
